I have finally had a big emotional breakdown since I started wedding planning. I received a package from my grandmother today. It was a ring of my grandfathers wrapped in a sponge bob hanky. My grandfather absolutely loved spongebob.  He passed feb of 2013. He was my favorite person in the world and I miss him terribly.  It was instant tears opening up this package. Best wedding gift I couldve hoped for. And now im crying again!

    That's not a breakdown! What a wonderful gift to receive! Sounds like a picture, the ring & hanky need a special place of honor :-)

    Are you going to tie the ring to your bouquet or anything like that?

    My grandma wears my grandpa's wedding ring on her thumb and she's going to let me use it as my something borrowed to tie to my bouquet for the wedding day.

    Yes, im actually wrapping my bouquet in a hanky of my grandmothers(she is also passed) and then im tying his ring around that so they will both be with me down the aisle. In addition, were using 
    I john:4 7-19 as the wedding passage.  It was the same one used at his funeral.
