I normally lurk on this board, but I just had to share my excitement with some May Brides that would understand. Our wedding is May 31st, and last night, FI and I got a wedding card and gift from a family friend who can't attend the wedding. FI and were so excited-- both the card and the check were both made out to "Mr and Mrs FILastName." I even got to endorse the check with my new signature (and my currrent one too!) It was just so exciting to have something real and legal with our married names on it! May 31 hurry up and get here!

Oh, and congrats to all my fellow brides getting married this weekend and in the coming weekends. Cheers to all you soon to be wives!

    I'm also a May 31st bride  - and you know I was thinking just the other day that I really should start to pratice / figure out my new signature! I can't remember if I have ever written my name with my new last name...

    @windie- It was kind of fun/weird to think that it was a legally binding signature, as opposed to times when I've doodled it on the back of restaurant reciepts, etc.

    May 31st here too! It's do exciting. Every time I think about becoming Mrs. FILastName I get tingles. I can't wait to take FIs last name already!

    Colorado Here - wedding will be at the Castlewood Canyon State Park on the Bridge Canyon Overlook - which is an deck that hold about 60 people (wedding will be about 30)

    Just went to go find the website to link for pictures, but they changed it and the gallery is gone! :( But I had saved one for our wedding webpage - so here is the view - I hope it will be this green in 29 days!

    We're getting married at Bear Mountain Inn in upstate NY. Our ceremony is on the patio so hopefully no rain!

    You guys are getting married in such pretty places!! We are getting married in suburban MI, near the majority of my family/friends. Not nearly as picturesque, but it gets the job done. :-)
