Wedding Invitations & Paper

Who goes first?

So yeah, traditionally bride's name goes first. But..we've got two brides. So...anyone know whose name would go first on an invite? Miss Manners needs to get onto writing gay wedding etiquette book already.

We can call it gaytiquette.

  • So whoever gets naked first goes...first? Last? Frankly I just like the idea of strip poker as a problem solver in general. Whose turn is it to unload dishes? Strip poker! Someone has to take out the trash. Strip poker!

Especially since I'm better at poker then she is.

Whoever gets naked first gets to choose whether she goes first or last?

Once somebody's naked, who cares about the dishes?

    I'd go alphabetically.

There is no rule about this.  Alphabetically is as good as anything.  Do we really need more rules about invitations?

You can use alphabetical order, flip a coin, rock/paper/scissors, or pretty much anything, but I think that strip poker idea is probably the most fun.
  • Haha I agree with the 'fun' way of deciding, but if you want you can create a template both ways and see which you both prefer esthetically. That's how I would do it, I'm kinda picky about how things look :P
  • I was going to suggest the same thing, Singin Chick! Sometimes, it will just look "right" a certain way.
What did you think would happen if you walked up to a group of internet strangers and told them to get shoehorned by their lady doc?~StageManager14
