The Dorrance or The Providence Public Library

Hi everyone, I am considering The Dorrance or the Providence Public Library for my wedding reception venue. Does anyone have any experience of holding their own wedding or attending a friend's wedding at either of these locations? What were your reactions? Would love to get some reviews!

    I had my rehearsal dinner at The Dorrance and it was just amazing.  It is so beautiful there and the food is out of this world.  If we had known about it before we booked our Newport wedding we would have gotten married at The Dorrance.

    I went to a wedding at the Providence Public Library November 2013 and it was really beautiful.  I liked how everything flowed, although cocktail hour was a bit cramped downstairs.  It probably depends upon how many people are at the wedding though.  All in all, a really beautiful and unique venue!
