What songs did you use during the wedding? Your processional song, recessional song, cake cutting, etc. I am trying to come up with a CD to bring with me to Sandals.

    Wedding Party:  WHen you wish upon a star (instrumental)
    Bridal  Entrance: Bridal March
    Recessional:  Wedding March
    Signing Marriage License: One Love
    Then we needed a song for something else so we used "Somewhere over the rainbow" the hawaiin version.

    I did a search to see what that Over the Rainbow version sounded like and I found a guy(Bob Lyons) who has a whole CD of steel drum wedding music. He even does Canon in D! I also see he does Margaritaville which I think I remember now about a bride posting that she used it as her recessional.

    Wow, I just looked up Bob Lyons and that is pretty cool. He even does trumpet voluntary with steel drums (which just sounds odd when you say it)  hum...something else to think about. Thanks for the tidbit!

    Bridal party: Bless This Broken Road
    Bride's entrance: Canon in D
    Recessional: Beautiful Day U2
    Marriage License signing/ cake cutting: Somewhere Over The Rainbow version by Isreal whatever his name is

    Also note that the onsite WC will ask you for 4 songs (bridal party, brides entrance, marriage license signing/ cake cutting, first dance) if you are using the videographer so you want to make sure to bring these songs on CD.  We just used my iPhone and although they were able to use our songs for the ceremony, they weren't able to dub them all onto our video because we didn't bring them on CD.  This is definitely something that I would have liked to have known in advance!
