Sound Connection in Belmar?

Anyone have any experience with this DJ. I looked on their site and the only person that I'm digging is Jason Jani. Sometimes the company's headline DJ cost a little extra. Any thoughts would be great.

    I'm not even having a DJ at my wedidng and I know of Jason Jani. LOL I feel like he's everywhere, although I've never been to a wedding with him there....I'm hoping he will eventually be at one of the weddings I go to in the future so I can see what the hype is all about. I know a lot of people who have used SCE and were very pleased.

    I'm using Jason Jani for my wedding. I saw them at a bridal show and they were actually NOT annoying. FI and I met with Jason and loved him (FI was sold since SCE did the wedding of someone on Opie and Anthony).  He understood everything we were looking for (no group dances, no give aways, great music and everyone dancing the whole night). Jason is more expensive then the other DJs though, and was more than we were planning to spend but we felt it was worth it. SCE starts at $1700 and Jason himself is $2500.


    EDIT: They DO negotiate. We know Jason's cousins, so he took $500 so we through in the $400 lighting and felt like it was a good deal. If you talk to him about what you want to spend he will discount, he probably would have taken more off for us but they hard installed uplighting in our venue as well so we get that for free.

    Wow, didn't realize that Jason would "start" at $2500. With the options that we need, he'll put us way past our budget. Thanks for the info diamond!

    MissChristineC used them at her wedding and I thought they were fanatastic. I know you can pick a DJ other than Jason from the same team and the cost is less.

    Agreed with Sherri - most of the things you see on the site are Jason's since its his company. The other DJs there are great as well, they just aren't as prominently displayed on the site since its not their life's work. I think Chris did the wedding for the Opie and Anthony guy... They're worth checking out to see what they can do for you. They also have a contest going on now with a grand prize of a 5k package so its worth a shot.

    I saw the videos that featured the other DJs and I wasn't loving their "presence" in the video when they were speaking. I'm not too picky on things but I have to get a good vibe from someone when their doing announcements. I need that energy. I'm still going to swing by the bridal show this saturday and check them out in person. It's worth the shot
