We've started receiving gifts and our wedding is a month away. Do we send thank you notes for them now? Do we wait and send them when we send everyone else's?

Send them now. Don't use gift until after the wedding.

Send the thank-you now. If nothing else, the sender will know that you got the gift.

And I second misshart- don't use the gift until after the wedding.

Open the gift, inspect for damage, send the note. Wait until after the wedding to use the gift.

People need to know you've received the gift.
