I wonder if its worth it????

  • Not sure it's worth the price!  $15 for them to sell me stuff?  Not sure about that.  But the site did say "EVERY BRIDE receives an Eco-friendly Keepsake Shopping Bag and a Free Spectacular Bride wedding planner."

For that price I hope it's a really nice shopping bag and planner!

  • How else can you try multiple cake bakers???

  • DixeChik19  good point-  I just thought that if they're trying to sell you something they'd cover the cost and not charge admission too.  But I guess I don't know anything about bridal shows!

This bridal show also had one in January... Personally I think it was really worth it!! They have so many vendors, a fashion show, inspiration avenue dedicated to decor ideas, etc. Lots to see! I had all our vendors picked before we went so we got to talk more with them, get some ideas, and got our hands on some free stuff and cake samples! Definitely recommend it if you can attend.

  • The bag is your standard cotton shopping bag, good size. At one show, I got a free subscription to Brides magazine, which was awesome. There are a ton of decor ideas, and if you don't have a HMU person, that's a great place to see some.
The Brides Against Breast Cancer event is pretty fun if you don't have a dress yet. (http://www.bridesagainstbreastcancer.org/upcoming-shows-2014/henderson-bridal-show-lake-las-vegas-area-june-2014/). I got a dress here, and when you do, a few amazing things happen. 1. Proceeds go to breast cancer research. 2. You get a free simple HMU trial and mini photo session. So you get to see two professionals' work with you. I ruled out a photog this way because when I got the pictures, she had picked the bad side of my face. There aren't a lot of vendors, it's mostly to find a dress.
Best bit, for all of us - if you don't want your dress sitting in your closet, you can donate it after the wedding for a tax write-off, to help other brides, and to support a great cause.
