214 Martin Street -Raleigh NC Wedding Venue Trouble

Hey everybody –

Does anybody have any insight about what’s going on at 214 Martin Street (situated in City Market between Subway and Rum Runners, attached to Cobblestone Hall)? We initially booked the venue with the understanding that the interior construction would be completed by late spring. Now their website says fall 2014 and we haven’t heard anything from the venue despite several attempts.

We know that there were weddings and other events planned at this venue from as early as May 2014. Does anybody know anybody who had booked this venue that either had it moved or canceled and what that process was like?

Our October wedding is still on schedule, but the radio silence and continually shifting completion date has me nervous.

Any info is appreciated!

    post this on your local board. We have something like 2 regulars on this board from NC, and neither of them is planning a wedding.
