Today is my 1-year knot anniversary! Though I have only been engaged since December and posting since then really. I lurked a bit before when Fi and I were talking about marriage and going to weddings. So yay!
I wish it was like a birthday and I got cake. But why did the knot freak today?
Also, I went to location of my new job (starting July) and signed the lease for a new apartment. I found a 1 bed + 1 den/ 2 bath for the price of 1 bed/1bath. Mom came with me and we worked hard to find the best place. It is only 1.5 miles from work and 1.5 miles from a giant shopping center/grocery stores! So yay!
I also ordered a bunch of new furniture. My first new mattress ever and my first new couch and love seat! I splurged a bit instead of buying super cheap, I bought middle of the road, haggled a bit and bought some on sale. I think I did pretty well for myself and am excited to move in!
I move all my stuff down in June!

Also first mother's day that I've spent with my mom in years! Was nice!
I took her to breakfast and dinner!
So anyways, productive weekend. Anyone else do anything fun?
