Wanna Know What Takes Forever???

Printing our programs on my printer....I'm sure I could walk away from my computer, but I would rather be near the printer so I can keep shoving papers into it.  On a side note, our programs look lovely!!! :D

  • I agree! Although... I think our problem is we are using my parents heavy duty computer/printer, and they don't have the "usual" word programs. Sooo.... We basically have had to guess and adjust, guess and adjust. But we are pretty much done now! :) Just the last couple pages to print when we go back to visit them in on Friday.
  • Aww I am sure they are beautiful. Congrats

  • I took me I think about 2 hours or damn near it to print them all out.  I only screwed up 20 of the 100.  So I had to reprint those.  I fed them into the printer wrong so the back was upside down.  Now I still need to fold them, but they just need a simple half fold, so that shouldn't be too much of an issue. :)  @kellibastien I would have been yelling at the computer like a crazy person.  I'm glad your guessing paid off, and your programs came out looking how you want them. :)

Sixth Anniversary 100 Comments 25 Love Its Name Dropper

as we are having a very simple ceremony (hopefully about 20 minutes total) - no bridal party, no music (except for the processional so people know its starting), no special readings or anything so I made a sign for the program - its says

    The Ceremony

    The Groom      The Bride

    The Word        The Vows

    The Rings        The Kiss

    The Mr. & Mrs.

And since we are getting married outsid at a state park, not having physical programs will help with clean up (IE to having to chase after papers!)

Glad you ladies got yours all done! :) and good on you for doing it yourself!

  • I am so glad I wasn't the only one who had printer issues with my programs!! I got mine off Etsy and figured I would just print them at Office Max.. WRONG. They wanted over $300. So I tried with our printer at work. Paper was too thick to do double sided, then they weren't lining up right if I printed one at a time... yadda yadda. So I ended up printing one side of them all, then having to flip the page and print the back side. Turned out perfect. Then got them all cut for only $3.00 :)

  • I'm glad that I decided to forgo the programs. I was frustrated enough printing out the tags for the stupid escort cards. LOL
