Look what Honeyfund is up to..

No judging! I made a honey fund long ago, and have since decided to pretend it doesn't exist and am hiding it. However, I still get emails every so often.

Please view and enjoy this screen shot I took, and comment away.

Re: Look what Honeyfund is up to..

  • So you got an email from a business encouraging you to use the business? Because honestly, I don't see the point of this. Honeyfunds are bad. We know that. IMO It's not like this makes them worse than they already are.
What did you think would happen if you walked up to a group of internet strangers and told them to get shoehorned by their lady doc?~StageManager14

  • Encouraging to put it on your website, and then changing payment options to only PayPal.. Oh the horror!

I accidentally take screenshots on my LGG2 all the time. Annoys the hell out of me.

omg I love you! I never knew how to do that!
  • Glad something useful came out of this thread.

(And also glad OP figured out that honeyfund is a bad idea)

Trust me, I knew they were bad several months ago.

  • His Girl - looks like for the swipe one you may need to enable the option. I'd check that first if it isn't working.

For the first one (I have the S4 and use that one), you have to hold them down for a few seconds (the video it looks like you don't). It will click like the camera shutter sound when it takes. I don't think you need to enable that option though. Good luck!
  • I do have the palm swipe enabled, because I checked that first.

Bafflingly, today BOTH the options are working for me.

    Technology continues to elude me.

  • 609 is a shit ton? I have 6,111...and that's me new married name account! I am scared of my old account that I had for about 9 years...

Of course, the majority is spam.
  • You have a shit ton of emails.

Haha and I delete all the promotional ones from stores! I feel some of them are too important to delete, regarding work, interviews, mortgage, moving company, wedding vendors, etc. At least they are all read though :)

  • I have over 6000 emails.  I have a lot of unread ones as well. I get so many emails, but most is junk. I delete most of them, but I need to save all the wedding related and housing related emails. And then there are the ones I think I'll go back to, and never do.

Oh okay that makes sense. I wasn't trying to talk shit - I hope it didn't come across that way. I delete damn near everything or put it into my wedding or shit to keep folders.

I have 22,000 emails in my work inbox. Every one is read and checked off as completed, but I save them all forever JIC.

This is me. My personal email inbox is sorted 16 ways from Sunday. My work email is, too, but I almost never delete work stuff. I keep it all for a paper trail.

  • Our mailboxes at work are set with a pretty low limit. I can usually only get away with about 2k emails in my inbox before I start getting notifications that my mailbox is over-limit. Of course, this is since I traffic a lot of large files attached. Luckily, our company saves emails on the server for 2 years even if you delete the original from your inbox.

  • I should learn to have separate folders for wedding, house, work etc. For now it's just spam and trash and you've got a shit ton of mail here! Thank goodness for the search function, though.

I was going to say that 609 emails is not a shit ton. I can easily get over 100 a day. I have stuff that sits in my inbox until the end of the week when I sort. If I sort as I go, I tend to lose track of things.   I also keep everything work/school related for my own paper trail. Learned that lesson the hard way.
