Bridesmaid stepping down

Hi all! Sorry if this has been asked..... My bridesmaid told me today she is pregnant. Her due date is the day after my wedding, so she can no longer attend the destination wedding. She will still be in an honorary bridesmaid though. :-) Anyway, do I just leave my bridal party uneven at this point? It already was three bridesmaids to four groomsmen, which I was fine with. I have other close friends I could ask, but they are all from the same group and I didn't ask any of them because it would have been weird to just pick one of them. Now I am wondering if I should ask two of them, one of them, or just leave it completely uneven. Any thoughts? Thanks!

    Don't ask someone to be a replacement. Sides don't need to be even.
    What did you think would happen if you walked up to a group of internet strangers and told them to get shoehorned by their lady doc?~StageManager14

    Leave your sides uneven.  Asking someone to be a replacement bridesmaid would be hurtful both to her and to your pregnant bridesmaid who can't come.

    Uneven sides are completely fine and pretty darn normal in today's wedding world.

    The replacement will feel like a replacement rather then feeling honored.  Could you imagine someone coming up to you and saying "Oh well Susie can no longer be in the wedding so I would love it if you could take her spot!"  Nothing like being second best.

    Another vote for having uneven wedding party. Some lucky BM gets the priviledge of walking down the isle with a man on each arm.

    We're having uneven sides and FI's one BM is LOVING it because he gets two ladies to walk down the aisle with after the ceremony. He's so excited.
