Thank you, NEY!

This weekend I went to the liquor store and they were having a special on Barefoot Wine. I got my usual white Moscato, but I also saw the bottle of red and wanted to try it. IT IS AMAZING. So thank you, NEY for turning me on to this!

What do you want to thank NEY for?? And just for shits and giggles, how about one thing WR and one thing NWR?! And go!

Re: Thank you, NEY!

  • NWR: Thank you NEY for sweet tea vodka and lemonade! Also, thanks you NEY X 1000000000000000000000000000000000 for all the friends I've made on here IRL.

WR: Thank you for choosing my accessories for me and answering all my "I don't think this is a big deal, but maybe I should ask. Oh, it is a big deal, good thing I asked" questions.

  • Thank you NEY for listening to all of my WR events and posts.  It's so nice to be able to share ahhhhh 23 day.......

Thank you NEY for being my friends and always listening to me.  I'm grateful for so much. I think I need to try red Moscato....

  • WR: Honestly, thanks for turning me on to etsy lol - this is SO simple but it helped me to get little details right for my big day :)  I was also "the most chill bride in the world" so I owe that a bit to you guys and knowing it's only one day in this huge marriage thing :)

NWR: Thanks for putting up with all my poop stories.  It was a long summer last year lol.  AND thanks for all the house hunting advice!  We put in a counter offer last night but we're pretty sure the owner's not going to take it so it's kinda back to the drawing board
I guess, to tell you the truth, I've never had much of a desire to grow facial hair. I think I've managed to play quarterback just fine without a mustache. - Peyton
  • WR: Thank you for the endless advice given to me when I was engaged and listening to all my stressing out moments. Like @Blue said, it's only one day in this huge marriage thing lol. It's funny after you're married that you look back on your wedding day and remember how awesome it was but being married is so much bigger and better than that one day.

NWR: I love how honest and genuine everyone is on this board. I haven't met anyone yet IRL but I hope to someday. It's great to have friends to talk to while I'm at work.
  • The endless advice!!  Wedding related and life related!

Listening to me vent.  Sometimes it's nice to sit down and just be able to vent and have a bunch of ladies keep ya level-headed.

My #1 Thank You:  Helping me get through my work days!  Don't get me wrong, I love my job... but I work with a bunch of guys... and it's still called 'work' for a reason.

  • WR: Thank you for being as (if not more) excited for me that my engagement is coming soon. I can't wait to share the moment with all of you!

NWR: Thank you for NEY for introducing me to some of my bestest friends in the whole wide world. I don't know what I would do without some of you in my life, and I plan on never finding out. <3

WR: I am so happy to have found a place that keeps me from obsessing about my engagement with just normal day to day interactions.

NWR: I am greatly entertained by the use of GIF's and the Jlaw love.

NWR: Thank you NEY for the gifs. And for just being so damn amazing all the time!

  • WR: Thank you for not letting me be BSC, talking with my FI and getting us on the right track!

NWR: Thank you for having a place to talk Bachelorette. Also thank you for just being you!

  • WR - Thank you NEY for letting me vent about my family stuff and being so supportive. My brother apologized for being a jerk and said he would get over being butthurt (his words) so that's a big relief.

NWR - I love being able to come here when my brain needs a break from work. Thanks for all the silly gifs and such.

  • @Blackbird230 I am now going back into yesterday and Monday's threads because I missed the bachelorette talk...although I really don't get into it until I start knowing people's names haha.

WR: Having a place to be a little crazy about wedding planning has been amazingly helpful. One of my favorite things about NEY is that we're a mix of people who are single, in a relationship, living together or not, engaged, or married. We're from different places and backgrounds, and we've all had really different experiences. And that means that advice about wedding planning is amazingly helpful and complete--I'm not just getting perspectives from people who are also engaged, or from people from the Northeast.

    NWR:

    1) So many scientists here who've been sooooo amazingly supportive of me while I muddle through grad school. Grad school is awful, and having advice and support from people who've been there, whether they've finished or left (I imagine @blue leaving, Weasley twins style, and am jealous every day), has more valuable than the advice and support I have from coworkers and grad students in my program. This community gives me a place to vent about my experiments not working, advice about my options, and support no matter what I decide to do.

    2) Y'all, Neutrogena T/Gel singlehandedly changed my life by getting rid of my dandruff (that is, when I use it regularly).

  • WR- For not letting me go BSC with an upcoming engagement, and how I also can't wait to share it with you all when it happens!

NWR- The support from this community, especially after the wildfire situation last week. You guys are amazing, and I hope I get the chance to meet at least some of you IRL. If anyone is ever in San Diego, look me up! Also, I go to the Albany, NY area frequently, and if there is ever a GTG I would love to know!

Also, the GIF's, and getting me through the work day when I have to wait for emails from others.

@GoldenPenguin I grew up there! So did BF, and all of our family lives in the area still! In fact, that's where we will most likely get married since it is easier for us to travel to them!

ETA: We are going to a wedding in Saratoga in July!
