We finally have our flights and accomodation booked for our wedding and honeymoon!! I thought once we had it book I may begin to feel slightly nervous but I feel a strange sense of calm (mixed with excitement of course). We have also booked chapel of the flowers who have so far been awesome. We officially have a wedding date of 8th October 2015!! Now the fun can really begin! This board has been amazing and I can't thank you enough for all the tips and reviews!

    I'm impressed you were able to book that far in advance lol; I couldn't do our hotel until about 9 months out and flights at 6 months.  Congrats!

    Thank you! We weren't sure if we would be able to book this early but we are coming from the UK and have booked a package deal with Virgin Holidays who have been brilliant. We got a really good deal on the flights too since they were so far in advance!

    Wow, I can't believe you've been able to book for October 2015, that's great! We've been watching and the flights for us only came out in the last week for April next year, but we've been looking at expedia and didn't really think to look at someone like Virgin holidays. Have you decided what you're doing for honeymoon?
    I think we might do Mexico (we are stuck between that, a road trip up the west coast or a cruise, but I think I'd rather save the road trip for when we've got more time). If we do mexico, we'd probably only buy a one way flight then try and fly home from there, to save us flying back to America, changing then getting another flight to the uk.
    Congratulations on having so much booked, we're slowly getting there but I can't wait 'til all the main stuff is done and then we can start concentrating on details!

    sdg2502 We probably could have saved a little waiting and booking through expedia etc. but Virgin Holidays were brilliant. So friendly and we asked about any discounts and managed to get 10% off. We booked Las Vegas and Orlando. We have always been huge disney fans and have mentioned for years about going to Disneyworld so we thought we may swell do that for our honeymoon! We can't book the internal flights until 11 months before but Virgin were able to book everything else! My brother went o cancun last year and his pictures are stunning! Looked so beautiful! Where are you guys coming from?

    @Jixxt We have been super eager to book. We've been engaged for 18 months now! Where are you flying from?

    @Mish we are flying over from Sydney, Australia so keeeeen to pay for flights so we can spend $$ on other stuff!

    @jixxt not sure whether it would be the same in Australia but it honestly worked out better for us to book with a travel agent as a full holiday package. They also had the flights released with package deals way before booking the flights by themselves which we would have only been able to do 11 months before. They should be released soon for you though right with only being 11 months away?? I thought once we had it booked I would begin to feel nervous but I feel so peaceful and calm, just very happy and excited!! :)
