Bar Signs - help finding lyrics

I am making signs for the reception that have song lyrics but I am struggling to find good songs. So far I have "you'll be my glass of wine, I'll be your shot of whiskey" (Blake Shelton) and one that says "she's the moon in my shine, the whiskey in my water" (Tyler Farr). Does anyone know any other songs that have similar lyrics?

Re: Bar Signs - help finding lyrics

  • Why do you need signs with music lyrics for a bar area?

Even if you need a sign, why wouldn't just plain "bar" do?

Because that's not as cute and clever as song lyrics about drinking placed on a bar! Your wedding will never end up on Pinterest that way!
What did you think would happen if you walked up to a group of internet strangers and told them to get shoehorned by their lady doc?~StageManager14

  • I used to work for the Hard Rock for awhile and a lot of people that will come to my wedding do/have as well, and I actually think this is clever (the hotels and cafe's have lyrics everywhere). Here are some that I can think of:

Red, Red Wine, you make me feel so fine -UB40
It ain't too far, come as you are, I love this bar - Toby Keith (It looks like you're having a bit more country in the lyric choices)

I suggest if there's a Hard Rock Cafe/Casino/Hotel by you, check there for all the lyrics decorating places. They can be found in hotel guest services books, elevators and more obviously, on the walls.

  • "I'm a little drunk on you, and high on summertime" Luke Bryan

"Pour a little sugar in your Dixie cup, get the party started" Luke Bryan

"Throw back your pretty pink lemonade shooter and lean a little closer" Blake Shelton

"Another shot of whiskey, please, bartender" Blake Shelton & Christina Aguilera

"Somethin' 'bout a beer, sittin' on ice.." Kip Moore

"I'm pretty good at drinkin' beer" Billy Currington

"I like girls that drink beer" Toby Keith

"I shoulda just called him whiskey" Jana Kramer

I can find more if you want....lol....

  • Not a song lyric but one of my favorite bar signs said

    ALCOHOL

    story started with
    someone eating a
    SALAD.

If find it cute because DH and I met drunk at a bar.   This couple also met at a bar.

** and yes I'm sure there is someone on here who did meet over a salad.  But please do not be offended.

What differentiates an average host and a great host is anticipating unexpressed needs and wants of their guests.  Just because the want/need is not expressed, doesn't mean it wouldn't be appreciated.
  • Thank you so much for your help @shannonmaya, @singinchick13, and @lyndausvi these are perfect!
  • Sorry I wasted my time Googling for you if you were going to snub me in your list of thanks.
