All 30 RSVPd online- would you still send invitations?

Hi, we're having 30 guests at our wedding.  All 30 of them have already RSVPd Yes via our website since they had to purchase flights (it's Thanksgiving weekend and flights are already selling out).  So now the question is, do we even bother with invitations?  I had sent out STD magnets so they all have those but not sure I need to bother with invitations?   It's not only the additional cost I'm questioning, it's the time to pick them out, decide what to say, order, addressing and mailing them...

Maybe I should send something/reminder out 30 days prior with more info about events?  These are all my closest friends and family who are not going to "forget" it so I am not sure what to do.

Thanks everyone.  BTW-  there is a reason I didn't put this on the etiquette board, I'd prefer get other Vegas knotties opinions!  :-)

I totally would not. All of our family and friends quickly booked flights as soon as we mentioned vegas and even thought about invites so I just see it as $ I could put to better use somewhere else. But, I know this is a topic you will get different opinions on! Do what feels right to you. F**k etiquette, lol.
  • I wouldn't then if you have everyone RSVP, we sent out RSVP for 50 people bc on his family some people don't use the internet that often, we have 40 people confirmed

  • Yes. You should still send invitations.

  • We've sent out save the date magnets with a link to our wedding website which we have all the information about our wedding on. There will only be 15 of us in total travelling so to us, invites are not completely necessary since all the information is on our website. I think you should totally do whatever feels right for you!

We received all of our RSVPs as well. We didn't send out paper invites in the end. I had some printed with a free credit we had on shutterfly and I made a mistake on the RSVP card. No biggie since everyone had already rsvp'd. We have a few to close friends and family for memory purposes but also used paperless post. The invitation should reflect the formality of your event, we feel ours is very casual and just about have ing a good time and found a paperless post that reflects it.
  • If they've already booked flights I don't see the point. As soon as I told close family we were getting married in Vegas they said they were coming and that was it nothing else required.

If they've already booked flights, I wouldn't.  Like you said, maybe 30 days out send them the itinerary.
  • I would say yes, still send invites. You can do something very simple and affordable off vistaprint or wedding paper divas. Since your guest list is relatively small it shouldn't be that time consuming to address and mail them.
