I saw a real metal rooster. 6 feet tall. Perfect wedding gift for the couple who has everything and only NEEDS cash. Major drawback...it was priced $469.

I saw it driving into the grocery store, and couldn't get out of the car fast enough. Hubby was confused until I explained. The rooster was so cute, but not for that price.

There's a little store in St. Louis that sells miniature metal suits of armor (I may or may not own one...) which, I think, is a viable alternative.

Eh. Not that funny to me. I'm thinking more along the lines of - Does that make it passive aggressive? Aggressive aggressive? Not sure. I know people (can be? are?) rude, but for some reason, in my world, buying them a giant metal chicken doesn't make it any better, and it would just make me look like a jerk. And I don't have time for that. I like to think I have a sense of humor and find many things funny in life, but this just isn't one of those moments.

But, to all who it is funny - sure! Go for it!

This made my afternoon. I know people like this. I would enjoy a metal chicken just because well, I like unique. I'd never buy one just to piss FI off and make a point but my sister would totally encourage it and we would have a blast buying it.
