I am totally addicted

This buy sell trade group is totally addicting.  I've sold so much random shit it's not funny.  I just sold the lights from our old kitchen.  Some things are only $2 or $3, but I've made over $100 off this crap in the last 2 weeks.

As a s/o: SIL is listing the purses sMIL bought her for Christmas the last 3 years.  I'm guessing sMIL isn't going to take this well and SIL is asking far too much.

Re: I am totally addicted

  • one of my local mom "friends" kept adding me to the local buy/sell/trade FB group, and mostly everything posted looked like junk. Re: SIL: If you don't have an outlet nearby, they're designer and less than 25% of retail, she may have a chance.

This has a lot of higher end stuff.  Adult clothes from Nordstrom, LuluLemon, Ann Taylor, Tory Burch.  I'd buy some if the clothes were bigger than a 4. Kid's clothes are Matilda Jane, Hannah Anderson, etc.

She's listing 3 year old Coach purses for $100.  There is an outlet ~1 hr away.  I don't know retail on them, but she said $300.  I see similar bags going for $50.

She's never going to get $100 for a 3yo Coach bag. Their outlet has an online arm as well - you can get bags from current/last season in the $100 or less range. ETA: the stuff people are trying to sell on the local page is mostly junk - at least it was each of the 3 or so times she added me, before i figured out how to prevent her from doing it again.
