Friday the 13th AND a full moon!

Anyone else getting married on Friday, June 13th?  Its a full moon at around 4:00 am the night before.  Everyone says we are gluttons for punishment, but we've always worked well going against the grain.  Just curious who else out there is as adventurous as we are!

    We are getting married on Friday the 13th too! We've definitely received some weird reactions from people but we are super excited and love that it's different than everyone else. I love that it's a full moon and that it's the only Friday the 13th this year!

    Me too! Just realized it would be a full moon the other day! The last time it was Friday the 13th on a full moon was back in 2000 I think? Totally cool!

    We thought about it because we live in a popular vacation destination and we didn't want our guests stuck in weekend traffic (we were also hoping it would be a bit cheaper than a Saturday wedding) but FI is way too superstitious so it was out.

    Friday the 13th is a lucky and powerful day for women (if you believe that sort of thing), which is why historically it is seen as a bad luck day for men (ha ha).  

    So it is a great day to get married :-)

    We picked this date because its a full moon  marriages consummated during the full Moon were the most prosperous and happiest:)
