  Hi!  I am recently married (June 19th) and I can tell you the people that I worked with!
  
  DJ - Streetwork Productions - We worked directly with the owner of the company Jim Barbee.  He was great to work with, very professional, and lets you be in control of your music.  Once you and your fiance decide on some of the types of music you'd like he will put together your playlist and does a really great job of being organized!
  
  Cake -- Swank Cake Design - AMAZING!!!  I cannot tell you how many complements we got on our cake!!  They were recently featured on TLC's Ultimate Cake Off.  They are very very reasonable if you mention that you met them at the Bridal show and they'll give a discount. 
  
  Florist - Fleurtations - Michael McLamb is amazing as his job!  He made the most beautiful unique bouquets for the wedding! 
  
  I did not use a wedding planner so these were all people that I researched before using and I was amazed at their professionalism and how easy they were to work with.

  I got married on June 27th.
  
  DJ- We used maydnew. www.maydnew.com May did several consultations with us to make sure we felt comfortable with the music selections. The sound was phenomenal. She gave me a detailed playlist before the wedding so that I could make sure all of the music was to my liking. Everyone commented on how great the music was.

  
  

  Cake- We used Cinda's creative cakes. www.cindascreativecakes.com The cake was so delicious and exactly the design we wanted. Cinda was awesome during the consultation. She had two whole small sample cakes for us to taste our top two flavors! She was very professional and easy to work with. We had a small wedding of 60 guests. The cake was a 75 serving cake. There wasn't a piece left. You won't be disappointed!
  
  I did all of my planning without a coordinator. We had family friends that are professional photographers so I can't help with that. Good luck! You have a gorgeous venue!

  I love All the Right Grooves for a DJ. They are based in Charlotte but will travel to the Raleigh/Durham area. They schedule consultations once a week at the Streets at Southpoint in Durham. We worked with Bethany and LOVED her!
