@chibiyui It was so delicious lol. I was surprised.
  • Yuuummmm I love moscato. I had a red moscato once, it didn't taste like wine at all but was DELICIOUS and I got drunk real fast off that bottle. Oops.

  • Love me some moscato, too.  But, then again, if it's wine, period, I probably love it....

  • Moscato Castello and Roscato or a Lambrusco are my favorites. I love the sweet reds with just a little carbonation. So yummy!
  • We had a really yummy Syrah last night with dinner.

Since you love Sweet reds with carbonation, please try Rivata Casa Rossa. Light, bubbly, sweet, and very delicious! It is my absolute favorite red wine.

Live fast, die young. Bad Girls do it well. Suki Zuki.

  • If you're a fan of moscato try Bug Juice - absolutely my favorite!
  • Yup I love moscato. Currently my favorite though, is Riesling. I love Relax Riesling. Yum!

  • Mmmm mmm!

The FI and I just got our quarterly shipment from one of our wine clubs....I've been wanting to try some all weekend (there's a new chardonnay I'm dying to try), but he's been out of town.

  • Moscato is the only kind of wine I like, very yummy stuff.
  • FI's mom and step-dad are huge wine people. They bought a Rose on sale for $8/bottle and have a case of it. I really hope they open some up the next time I go over to their house for dinner. I love the stuff. I love most wine, so it's not that unusual, but it was delightfully pink and not too sweet. Jolie Folle. I like Moscato, but FI hates the stuff. We normally have a nice Cab or something when it's his choice. I like most kinds of wine, even though I find Rieslings typically too dry for me.

"They say there's no such place... as Paradise. Even if you search to the ends of the Earth, there's nothing there. No matter how far you walk, it's always the same road. It just goes on and on. But, in spite of that... Why am I so driven to find it? A voice calls to me... It says, 'Search for Paradise.' " - Kiba, Wolf's Rain

Anyone ever have muscadine wine? I was gifted a sweet red muscadine wine from a local vineyard. All of the wine from there is pretty...bad or at most decent from there. Well this wine was called Noble, and my brother and I made my whole family try it at once. To quote my brother, it tasted like "bitter cat pee with a hint of sweetness." Never in my life. Never again. I am admittedly not an experienced wine drinker, but I can taste nasty.

Ha! I love the description...a few weeks ago while out at dinner, FI and I had to send a bottle of wine back.  When the server asked what was wrong, FI could only say, "It...smells and tastes like....feet."  Gross.

First and second bolded: Whenever people say this, I automatically think "So you've tasted cat pee? So you've tasted feet?"

Second bolded: I thought of this.

  • Haha @lovesclimbing, I know, right?  I was sitting there trying to think of a better way to describe it to the server (I'm pretty sure it was just corked bottle), but FI decided to give that colorful description instead.
