Second dress/evening dress

I will be having a traditional wedding dress for our ceremony but want a shorter dress for the evening as we will more than likely be eating in a public restaurant, watching duelling pianos ( fi request)and celebrating! I have ordered and received a dress which I love the top half but am unsure about the bottom half.. Opinions please! The reason I am unsure is... Feathers?

I think it's fun! I really like feathers in general. It is still bridal but fun! I went shopping today for a 2nd dress and it was EXHAUSTING!

I am just worried I won't be seen as a bride so I thought about wearing my veil still or getting a shorter one for the evening.

Am showing my mum the dress tomorrow to see what she thinks, am pretty sure she won't like the feathers, what do you all think? I love the rest of the dress just unsure on the feathers!

I've been to Vegas for labor day weekend every year for the past few, years (hubby's bday) and at night it is still very hot. If you can I would find something without long sleeves

Yea long sleeves will be hot, especially if you are going out dancing somewhere. I do like the feathers though.

I like it, I have been going back and forth. At first I wanted an after dress, but then I went to my second fitting and was like damn I freakin love this dress. It is full length so it will be hot in July. I have had problems finding a second dress I like. The dresses I seem to like are like white club dresses, or they look to bridal. If I'm going to hit the town in a bridal dress it will be my wedding dress, if I change into a white night club dress it won't really look like we just wed, but it would be more comfortable. I think if I can find one I like I will bring it and leave the tags on and if I don't use it then I can exchange it. I have no use for a white nightclub dress in my real life

RTR had a great selection when I was there in March! Bonus- you can rent a dress online and return it to the store if it doesn't work out for credit. I'm really tall so it's difficult for me to find cocktail dresses long enough but they were great at helping me!

I got a Vera Wang White bridesmaid dress in ivory! Love it. Here's a link. It's def very bridal however not quite as puffy in real life as shown here which is a good thing.

I actually really like the bottom of your dress, but not the top. That's just my opinion. If you love it then by god wear that dress girl!

I was looking forever for a second dress. All the ones I found were either too promy, or too bridaly, or too clubby. I finally settled on this one. It's a good length, has some texture and flair to it, and still has a bridal feel, but it's classic, which is a big deal for me because I don't want my future kids making fun of my wedding photos lol. And I like the v-neck, so I can still wear my blingy necklace with it!

Lovely dress. I sent the dress back today as I feel I should put it on and instantly love it, and I didn't love it just liked it. The search will continue! X

@DixeChik19 Yes ma'am! Third floor of Cosmo right before the landing to walk to Crystals. You can make an appointment online to ensure that an associate will be there to help you. I loved it! My associate had already pulled dresses in my size after I had emailed and told them what I was looking for and had champagne waiting for me. RTR has great customer service!

@trm358‌ thanks for sharing your experience with them. Was the selection in store bigger than online? Saw some ideas i like online but was hoping they may have more stock in store
