NER: escort cards

I'm ready to start printing escort cards out for my guests for my upcoming wedding. I was wondering what you guys would think looked better:

Name
then the number of table in a stamp based on color

Ex: Mrs. Emily Smith (in black)
               11 (in purple for chicken)


Or their name printed in the color instead

Ex: Mrs. Emily Smith (purple)
                   11 (in black)

    I think I like the table numbers in colors better. 
    What did you think would happen if you walked up to a group of internet strangers and told them to get shoehorned by their lady doc?~StageManager14

    I like the table numbers in color better, but I would triple check that the servers will be able to see the difference between the colors with just the small letters to go by.

    The colors will be pretty different- purple, blue and green but definitely a good point. our numbers are also pretty big stamp wise. We used them already for our STDs

    You could also do both the name and the table number in the color.

    If it's just as easy for the server to see the color of the table number as the color for the name, I'd go with just colored table number.  If that's too hard to see, I'd do the whole card.

    I finished printing mine last week.  We are using little colored dots in the lower right corner to indicate meal choices (red, blue, and green).
