Trying to figure out what my flower girl should wear.

Greetings!
So I have realized as I plan my wedding that I really suck at visualizing things I've never seen in person. My current predicament is that I cant figure out what my flower girl should wear. I really wanted to implement multiple colors into my wedding as opposed to having 2 or 3. The way I decided to do this without it looking like a rainbow threw up was to have each of my bridesmaids in the same color gown (silver) and each have a different color sash (Teal, Purple, Fuchsia, Azure (sky) Blue, and Jade (light green). My flower girl is one of my bridesmaids daughter. She'll be a little over 1yr at the time of my wedding.

I can't figure out what would look best: a white dress, a dress with all the bridesmaids sash colors, a dress with her mother's colors, or a silver dress.Since she's a baby, there are also much fewer dress options. And most of those options are sleeveless. Since my ceremony is in Maryland "on the dock of a bay" in early November, I would like something with some sort of sleeves on it, or that could be paired with a cardigan or bolero.

So all those who are great visualizers, any recommendations? Recommendations with links to websites are a bonus ;-)

For reference:

My gown: Robin Gillian R222 (not me in the photo, this is just one of the few pics of the gown online)

Bridesmaids: Sophia Tolli- BY11359- The gown in the photo is silver and the sash is fuchsia

I'd say a white or silver dress with a sash of your choosing, maybe the same color sash as her mother's. I think white will probably be the easiest to find.
  • If she's only going to be a little over 1 year old, then she's probably too young for any more than a dress that she'd normally be dressed in for an occasion of this formality and will have to be carried down the aisle by an adult.

I wouldn't make too big a fuss over this.  Probably any white dress-up dress for a baby girl with a colored sash of your choice would be fine.
  • I agree with Jen. You're overthinking this one for sure. What she is wearing will barely be noticeable.
What did you think would happen if you walked up to a group of internet strangers and told them to get shoehorned by their lady doc?~StageManager14

  • I'd probably do a silver dress with a cardigan in whatever colour you choose and a cute coloured headband with a flower because babies in flowered headbands are adorable
