Additional Cake bakeries

So the Knot only has like 10 or so bakeries listed for cakes in the Twin Cities.  I know there are more than that, because there are SO many bakeries around here.  I wanted to know if you all had some additional suggestions.

My little sister used her and she was great.  Are there other options I should be looking at?  I need more bakery options for our cake!!!

    You should post this on your local board as well, if you haven't already. This board is international.

    The Knot only puts vendors up that pay them for advertising space.  Google/Yelp and your local board are the best places to find other bakeries in your area.

    As Maggie said, those vendors on TK paid to be there.  If anything, I'd be looking for bakeries that are NOT on that list.  I find that, generally speaking, vendors that are really good do not need to pay to advertise on a website like this.

    Post this on your local board and google around for reviews.  Good luck!
