Swap Shop Flowers?

Any one try this route? Flowers are a budget killer and my mom wants me to consider this option and I'm a bit hesitant. Any stories or suggestions? Thanks!

My sister bought a huge arrangement of flowers( the ones that FTD charges $200 for) She only paid $15 for the whole arrangement....I say this would be an option if your venue is not too far and you have time!

We did this for my sister's wedding and the flowers turned out great. Very fresh. My aunt put together the arrangements herself but the vendors there also do arrangements. I'm pretty sure we will get flowers for our wedding there too and my aunt will arrange them.

I buy flowers from there for the house or as gifts anytime I can make it out there. The orchids are about half the price of Home Depot. I think some vendors are better than others. I like the people who have the free standing store front when you first walk in and the people on the endcap facing the produce. There is also one down the aisle to the left that is a FTD retailer. She makes all the arrangements you see on their site but you can order them direct from her.
