I'm love my dress, but I'm panicking over accessories

I fell in love with my dress on my first trip out shopping. I love how unique it is. Then my bridesmaids bought me a double headband I was eyeing. Then, I found a veil I liked and took my family with me to try the whole ensemble on. The veil has a decorative edge. My dress has floral detailing. I read that this is an accessorizing "don't" BUT The colors match perfectly, and everyone SAW me in the whole getup. Everyone loved it. I'm not a big accessorizing person.... I'm so worried about all the pieces I'm pulling together...

I think as long as you just do really subtle jewelry, then it will work. I would recommend a delicate bracelet and studs, no necklace.

I have a crystal headpiece and did chunky crystal studs and a bracelet, but my dress has no bling, lace, patterns, ect. Match some stud earrings to the size of the stones in the headpiece. Then match the earrings to bracelet. I'd go more dainty in size and let your headband be the main jewelry piece. Just take your headband to the mall with a friend and play with different options. You look great! And it's so sweet of your girls to buy you the headband!

or if you can find some sort of dangle earing that compliments the headband that would work too. I would skip a necklace and I think it would be too much with the headband which is so cool & unquie.

I agree with PP's. I would do very understated jewelry as to not over do it. Bracelet and earrings. No necklace.

If you're worried about overdoing it with the headband, maybe wear the veil for the ceremony and take it off and replace with the headband for the reception.

I don't really think the typical fashion "rules" apply to bridal fashion. If you're worried about it being too much, I like the suggestion to wear the veil for the ceremony and bling for the reception (I'm doing the switcheroo with a solid sash and a beaded one). But don't worry about the floral patterns or anything.
