Ohio-Venues on the lake-help!

We have always wanted to get married on the water (destination is out of the question, since we want our grandparents with us.), but there are really no places in Northern Ohio that are on the water! Does anyone have any suggestions?

    There are actually plenty of places on the water in NEO. 

    Here are a few, off the top of my head:
    • Put in Bay Yacht Club
    • Turkeyfoot Island Club (Akron)
    • Windows on the River (Cleveland)

    Geneva State Lodge. I've seen wedding photos from there & they are always beautiful. They can do an outside reception too weather permitting. I've heard great things about their rooms & service too. So you could have ceremony/reception/lodging all in one. It's right in the middle of our local wine country & the lodge even does wine tours/shuttles. For people flying it, it's a bit of a drive from the Cleveland airport.
