NWR- the big hair cut!

I am getting my hair chopped off today in preparation for it to fall out. My hair is more than half way down my back, so this is scary stuff!! I hope my hair dresser comes up with something cute, even if it's only going to last me two weeks.

    Maybe it will be easier if you can donate your hair to Locks of Love, or something similar?  Have fun with your new 'do!  I'm sure it'll look fantastic!

    Yeah! Donate your hair! I tend to think bald on women is pretty sexy. It's so exotic looking. I remember seeing it on ANTM a lot.

    H and I donated to Pantene Beautiful Lengths. I personally like what they do over locks of love. And for anyone with gray hair Pantene beautiful lengths uses gray hair too. And there are places that take only gray hair for wigs.

    If it helps, my aunt and friend both had minor changes in hair texture as it grew back. For my aunt, she lost a lot of frizz. For my friend, her hair started keeping a curl. Both could just be random but both attribute positive changes to cancer!

    I did save the hair. I found a few places that do it, so I contacted one, but haven't heard back. I will probably contact the others this next week. It's a long process- 8+ weeks!- so I need to get moving on it! By the time I get it back, I'll be done with treatment and my hair will be growing back.
