Cosmopolitan Wraparound Terrace Dimensions / Guest number accommodations

Hi everyone!
We are trying to plan an in-suite reception for about 45 people.  I like the Wraparound Terrace at Cosmopolitan. Will it be too crowded? I was thinking about renting tall round bar tables to put out on the terrace, or setting up narrow banquet tables. Can anyone who has been in these suites tell me how wide the terrace is? Would it accommodate tables and still allow room for guests to stand around them with some passage way for others to pass by? Thanks!

  • Hi-  not sure but I think 45 people would be too many for the wraparound at Cosmo.  From what I've read here it's better for 30 max.  I've seen photos of larger groups at MGM suites and Mandalay bay Vista suites but not 45.  @Shoebunnie used the wraparound hopefully she'll respond too.  Also there are lot's of Youtube videos of the suites, I found that more helpful than just looking at the floor plans.

  • We are considering an after-party in a wraparound suite for 37 people. It would be after the reception dinner, and we would have cake there. We think it'll be tight with that many people. We might go for it anyway, since not everyone will stay at an afterparty long. Any thoughts on 37 in the wraparound suite? We still may have people that aren't able to make it, but 37 is our total guest list.
  • We are having our reception at Cosmo Wraparound. From all my research, I feel comfortable that it will hold 40-50 okay. (Not doing a formal dinner- otherwise that would be too many).
Scott at Masterpiece Cuisine recently held his own reception in this suite and told me they had 50 guests and that it worked out perfect. Of course, this is completely utilizing the outside terrace along with inside. They also have a 1 bedroom attached terrace suite if you want a little additional space, but the balconies are not joined from what I gather.

@myvegaslove Yes i believe we are! Full bar and everything such a great deal for the price. We are signing our contract (by email) this weekend. The wraparound terrace seems like the best deal to me. The bigger rooms are twice as much and don't have as good of views like the terrace in the wrap around. -that's what i believe from my research anyways. -The balcony is joined, there are 3 sliding doors that lead out too it. You could walk out from the living room doors all the way around to the bedroom if you wanted too. East tower i believe has the best views and make sure you request fountain and a premium view, can't ask for a certain floor though.. darn!
  • Hey @irishvegas‌ I didn't realize masterpiece cuisine does bars too. They'll cater a full bar and bartender to your suite?

  • Yes @Rosebubbly‌ , they will!
Thanks @irishvegas‌ ..... I agree with you from the research I have done as well.
  • @Rosebubbly‌ yes! They bring absolutely everything plus a bartender. I know some knotties save money and buy the alcohol in Vegas and then get a bartender. But I didn't want to deal with buying it in Vegas and leftovers and all other accessories you may need. Also depending on price getting the room the day of the wedding at 3pm I will be in makeup whatever else and don't want to worry about it, :)
  • I liked this video of the wrap around on Youtube

I'm still struggling with which Suite to use too... Wraparound, Apex, Panorama...  So many choices!

aren't you talking about different hotels now?  cosmo v PH/MO v PH?
  • Yes, different hotels.

  • ah I see.  I went through the same process; ended up settling @ Aria.  The Apex suite @ PH was very tempting though!
