All these candles...that I can't light

I'm a genius sometimes. I just pulled out the paperwork for my reception venue because I forgot how many tables I had requested. As I'm looking at it, I read that I can't have any open flames. My centerpieces involve candles. That I've already bought. Sigh.

    Could you use hurricane-type glasses to contain the flames?

    Dont feel so bad. I purchased 60 bud vases that I thought were glass that are actually plastic. Hoping I can return them...

    I can't have open flames at my reception venue either but they said they were fine if they were in votive holders or glass cylinders.  As beachyone15 said, glass hurricanes or some other kind of vase with maybe some glass or rock filler could be really gorgeous.

    I'm going to email them today to see if I can use them if they're in cylinders or something. Otherwise I think I'll get some flameless tealights and just not light my bigger candles. If I have to put my candles in something, I'm going to have to re-think how it's going to look.
