Planning is officially becoming fun, because my mom is getting excited and so I'm getting more excited. :) 
We had another cake tasting and I think we picked our bakery. Yay! :)  I've had sugar spike on and off today because they gave me a to-go box.
We are narrowing down photographers. I'm waiting for parents and FI opinions on this last one, as well as some answers to questions I sent her.

More interesting, I interviewed a DJ today. Well I met with him and asked him some questions, but he was super grumpy. He was grumpy when setting up the meeting, but I thought maybe just a bad day. Then when we met he seemed grumpy and was all "I don't normally meet brides until the wedding" and super surly, totally didn't want to be there.  So needless to say, despite his good reviews, I think we will look elsewhere.  I don't understand it. If your job is to be a DJ, shouldn't you be charismatic and friendly? I am meeting two other DJs tomorrow. These were our top two choices anyway so hopefully that goes well.

How is everyone else doing? :)

    @kimches You should dothe registry online so you can read reviews. I've seen people registrer for stuff that looked pretty in the store but then when I click on it to buy the reviews say it's a terrible piece of crap.

    OP, yay that sounds fun! I deinitely agree that a DJ should be fun and outgoing and have that vibe right from the beginning meetings.

    Bummer on the DJ, shouldn't he expect that people would want to meet him beforehand?  Hooray on the cake!

    FI and I are speaking to photographers right now.  Last night we met with one and LOVE her (so we'll probably just go with her) and we have another meeting tonight (a recommendation from BIL's sister who used them last August).  We're a bit behind the ball on this one, our STD's have to be out Labor Day weekend, and we don't have any E-pictures yet, so we'll be getting those done soon (in the yucky weather, but at least they'll be in the evening).

    Yay for cake!  That DJ sounds terrible.

    I'm just studying today per usual.  I think I may take my books outside to the pool in a little while for a change of scenery.  Also so I don't throw my computer out the window with the HL bullshit and stupid people on my Facebook feed.
