I decided I want a fun jumpsuit for the summer. . . something I can dress up or down. Who has recommendations for me? If it matters, I am long and thin. . . . mostly leg.
I tried on a few today, and there were issues in the boob region with fit.
I know this doesn't answer your question, but I find rompers to be way more attractive than jumpsuits.
Rompers are cute but I don't usually love the elastic waist or where it sits on my body. I wish they would make them with lower waists or less elastic!
Do you have Dillard's or Macy's where they carry Vince camuto or Gianni Bini? I have a jumpsuit from Vince camuto that has lovely long pants and its gorgeous and well made (duh!). You will definitely get what you pay for in a jumpsuit I think.
(I just checked, they don't carry my jumpsuit anymore. I bought it back in march probably.)
The only advice I have regarding jumpsuits/ rompers is beware of camel toe.
Please, there will be bending, stretching and moving in the dressing room akin to bikini shopping! Nothing is going anywhere other than where it is supposed to be!
I have one very similar to the one Climbing posted, but the legs are pleated and then sort of pegged, and the hem is ankle length. It looks a lot like this but strapless:
Honestly I haven't worn it out yet! I have been studying and have no life. I think it would be good for a bar, party, or nice restaurant with a jacket. I'm also thinking about using fabric from where my mom hemmed the bottom to sew some straps on it.

Huzzah! I am also looking for a jumpsuit. I have the same issues with rompers. They're usually wayyy too short for one, and the elastic waist always hits me really weird and looks tacky. I will be stalking this thread.
These were really big for a while back in the 70s. What I remember most about them is what a damned nuisance it was to take a pee. Definitely not good going out drinking wear.

I have thought of this too. PITA.

I am jealous of people who can wear them. They look crazy comfy.
@shrekspeare we have success!!! is there an Off Fifth Outlet near you? I found two great ones for $90 combined

@KatWAG I did a thorough bit of dancing in the fitting room. . . .no cameltoe issues to report.
