Giving Away (XP)

So I'm not a big fan of "who gives this bride away" type thing.  I don't want to use that when my dad walks me down the isle.  Any other suggestions?  I want my dad to walk me down and I think something needs to be said but I don't know what?  Cheers.

    What if you bring the groom into it by having your dad say "who welcomes this man into the family?"

    We are doing a parent's blessing. (I hate the whole giving away also).

    Officiant to ask to sit (but both our parents still standing) and say something like:
    Gina0887 and FI will need your love and support in the future, not only on this special day. Do you now offer your support and best wishes for them and their lives together? (Parent's say "we do" then sit)

    I ended up having the officiant ask both sets of parents "who supports this woman/man in her/his decision to marry?"
