Groomsmen Mismatched Attire

The groomsmen all balked at the price of a tux rental. They want to do mis-matched grey suits, but the bridesmaids will all be wearing the same dress (same cut and color). Thoughts?

    Our GM wore their own gray suits (so they were all a little different) but we bought them matching ties. It looked great :)

    There isn't all that much differentiation from one suit to the next. Matching ties will bring them all together nicely. We bought ours from thetiebar.com, if you need a reco. :)

    We instructed our groomsmen to wear charcoal suits. We bought them matching ties. They all had their own suit and it worked out great. I wouldn't just say "gray" because there is a huge color difference in grays, I would give them more direction then that.

    H's groomsmen all wore different grey suits too.  We bought them all matching ties.  Looked great... it really wasn't a big deal.

    Having all completely different suits will probably work for most weddings unless its super formal.

    My fiancé is buying a pricy suit. Way too much to ask the groomsmen to buy. He is having the guys buy cheaper ones but they still match each other. My fiancé wanted to stand out anyways an he is doing a darker suit.

    You don't wanna build an army do you.. different suits will be symbolic of diverse personalities. 
    Here is a store - Hangrr .. that has many suits complementing each other.

    Has your FI asked them each *privately* for their attire budget? You should go with the lowest budget and base attire off that. If you want something more expensive, yall should pay for it.

    I think mismatched grey suits are fine. Just instruct them to wear a long sleeve white button down and buy them a matching tie.
