Earning Marriott Rewards points when holding your wedding at the hotel chain

So excited to say we got engaged three weeks ago! Today we signed a contract to hold the wedding and reception at The Lodge in Sonoma, which is a Renaissance Resort. I am a Marriott Rewards Gold Elite member and I hold the Chase Marriott card. I'm hoping to reap as many points on this wedding as possible for a great honeymoon. So, has anyone had any experience with points at hotel chains when holding a wedding there? Do you receive the same standard points per dollar, or is it less? Thanks!!

    Your location looks beautiful!

    I am contemplating a Renaissance Hotel here on the east coast and the information package mentions rewards points. I am not a Marriott Rewards member so I did not ask many questions about that part.
