Car Seat in Limo

Do we need a car seat in a Limo for an (almost) 2 year old? We will be taking him on our photo tour, and want to know if we need a car seat? We will have on with us in Vegas, but might be a pain to bring it down from the hotel room, and then lug it back later, etc. Maybe drop it off at the limo company, and pick it up the day after? I didn't really want a limo as such, probably a black escalade... Im guessing they will definitely need a car seat. Siiiigh. Anyone recommend any really accommodating rental companies?

Some limo companies offer a car seat rental option. When checkingn for prices and availability I quite about car seat options
  • If the limo was made after 2003 it should have the LATCH system required by law on at least one of the seats in the rear.  It will most likely not be the most convenient seat, i.e. probably one of the three rear seats where the doors are, but it should be there so you can hook any modern car seat to it.  I would recommend using it; not sure what the legalities are but chances are it's required regardless.  You might just have to load the limo up first and then hook the seat in.

  • ok. ill check. Im looking at Presidential's 8 Seat mini stretch Escalade. I will email them and ask. I think we will drop the car seat there the day before and collect the day after.

We will buy the car seat in Vegas when we get there... so should be up to date.

  • We are bringing a light weight car seat with us. my son is almost 2 years old also

They probably do have a rental option. We are using earthlimo and they allow you to rent a car seat for $15. They asked us if we need infant or toddler and weight and heights of child . It's in our fine print, we don't need one, though
  • thanks guys. we will have a car seat so wont need to rent one. will ask them and see what they say. probably better to have him strapped in in a limo as he will want to walk around otherwise. will see what they say. renting through them might just be easier anyway... for $15.
