following my budget blow out... need to work out how much I still need to spend!

Im not sure how much alcohol costs in the US. How much is a reasonable budget for beer, wine and spirits for 30 people for the in suite reception? half of those people wont drink themselves stupid... half will!

It will vary greatly. Depending on what you are getting and how much of each and how long. Plus, Prices for the exact same item can vary greatly depending where in vegas you purchase it. Don't get it through the hotel! They will charge you through the nose! There are drug stores on the strip that are a little cheaper and some liquor stores slightly off as trip that are cheaper. Still much higher than I am used to paying here in the Midwest, but far better that buying at the hotel. What kind of alcohol are you plannig on? Hard liquor, mixed drink, beer, wine other fancy premade cocktails?

And here's a liquor store near the strip I found on vegasgroom.com. It sounds like Lee's and Walmart will be your cheapest and best options to buy stuff once you get to Vegas.

The Lee's by Wynn is not that great. The other one is much better but it's a drive if you're not on the south end of the strip, so sometimes it's better to just go to something closer if it's only a $20 difference.

@vegasgroom - which one is the good one? everyone says south of mandalay bay... but I cant find one on their locations on the website???
