Engraving ideas for grooms gift

I'm giving my fiancé an antique compass before we get married with the latitude and longitude coordinates engraved on the top of where we got engaged in Ecuador. I'm hoping to also have some saying on it like "This will forever be our spot" or "If theres ever a time we get lost from each other you can find me here"


Any thoughts or ideas would be great!

    TBH, I really like it with just the coordinates. It's subtle, but obvious and extremely special to the two of you. Sometimes less is more.

    If you want to add to the coordinates, what about adding the date to the engagement location & then put the coordinates of where you are getting married with that date?

    But I also like what you wrote too, it's very sweet and will always have a special meaning to the both of you.
