Las Vegas Destination Wedding

We originally planned on eloping in Vegas, but decided to invite the immediate family to come if they chose to. No rehearsal dinner, no reception, no big guest list, and no gift registry. Just us getting married with me in my dress and him in his tux with my older children as our maid of honor and best man. Is there a checklist out there so that I don't go about this in a tacky manner?

Thank you so much for any help or suggestions. I am open to ALL!!!

Re: Las Vegas Destination Wedding

  • I, too, am getting married in Vegas.. This month in fact. While i have yet to encounter a check list, a lot of the chapels there have little forums... The chapel we are using has a page dedicated to how to get married in Vegas.. Telling what forms are needed, what to expect for tipping.. Also, your wedding planner, depending on which chapel you use should be able to answer any questions you have. The woman I have been working with planning my wedding has been super about answering all of my MANY questions and assuring me that everything would turn out okay.

I don't have a check list per say but a friend of mine recently got married here - http://artisanhotel.com/weddings/ and I know they made everything so simple on them, and it was beautiful, classy and also very small. It's a very trendy boutique hotel, nice and away from the madness of the strip. (I would like to state I am not affiliated with this hotel in any way, it was just a great wedding)!
