Hey!

What is everyone up to today?

Copper woke me up at 7:30...so I'm watching the Teen Mom Marathon.

Then our softball season starts tonight.

SAME on the dog waking me up early. FI got in at 4am from work so he's still asleep. I'm doing a lot of cooking for the week so he has stuff in the fridge to eat when he gets in so late/early.

So really cool stuff going on over here....

He's supposed to mow the backyard today. I asked him not to when he mowed the front yesterday becuase I didn't want grass in the pool when my friend came over to swim.

H told me at 9:45 last night that he committed to lunch with his parents today, so I am up and dressed and waiting on him so we can head to Denton. I have stuffed pepper soup (from Skinny Taste) in the crockpot and a bottle of wine waiting on me in the fridge.

I was hoping we could go to a movie today (either Men in Black or Madagascar), but guess we have to nix that considering he has homework to do when we get home.

FI and I were up until almost 1:30 with one of our furbabies last night. Our Boxer gotten bitten, stung, or had an allergic reaction to something that made his eyes swell up pretty badly. Started him off on one Children's Benadryl and then gave him two more around midnight. When we did finally get him into his own bed, he slept like a baby the rest of the night. I gave him four more tablets this morning around 8 and finally the swelling started to go down. He's still a little puffy but he's acting like himself again.

Sounds like no one is doing anything very exciting, although I could really go for some couch time and the Teen Mom marathon.
I am camped out at Panera, studying for the bar exam.

My son is with his mimi and FI is at work until 10. Very un-fun, but at least the bar exam is a good excuse to hang around coffee shops and consume pastries.

I woke up to my moh calling me saying my bm was going insane, they were texting about the wedding shower and the girl who is supposed to throw it is saying things like, "i thought you get gifts after your married""you get gifs for home at the shower? I thought thats what the registry was for?" And my favorite, "do i need to send out invitations or will they just know to show up?" I love my girls : at least my moh just got married and can help the others along

I hear ya! I don't understand why people have such a hard time picking up a phone or at least emailing venues to get information such as price ranges, how many people it will hold etc. I found alot of that info by using Wedding Wire and was able to read the revues as well. Seems like some people just don't want to put forth any effort.

Honestly?<div>Most of our decor/pictures are still packed away.</div><div>Most of our "we use this everyday stuff" got unpacked within the first week. </div><div>The rest of the stuff we took our time with and it took about a month-ish. We REALLY took our time. </div><div>

Ash, I love Oreo balls! They are so easy to make and so, so tasty. I usually end up eating at least half of them though as I make them, so I tend not to make them often.

Unpacking sucks. Packing sucks worse, but unpacking is pretty close behind it. We still have stuff piled up in our apartment from our wedding. It hasn't been touched since the day after the wedding and it probably won't get touched for several more weeks. On top of that, everything else is in disarray because I want to clean stuff out before I put new stuff in. We have so much crap... where did we get all this crap?!
