AW PIP: My promise ring

I know how y'all feel about them, but i don't care. bwahahahahaha

I never took a picture of mine before today (but it needs to be cleaned), so I figured I would share because I love it so much.
I wear it on my right hand. I didn't know it was a promise ring until months after I got it, but we don't see it as a "pre engagement ring," it's just a promise that he loves me and he's thinking about me.

It's a basket setting with diamond chips and a swirl kind of band. BF picked it out by himself for me for christmas a few years ago and he did it all by himself. It's very "me" and I was proud about that because of how well he knew me. I also like that it doesn't look like an engagement ring.

I'll confess, cats and I tend to not get along well, but Lucy gets pardon because she's yours and your right (promise or not) is quite lovely.

Very pretty ring.

Those are my favorite animal poses. When they're laying on their back completely spread out to the world, not only is it just too cute, it shows how trusting they are of their humans...which means you're doing an awesome job as a kitty mommy.

Look at that! I wish some of the board's antagonists would be around to see that people might even be swayed if you're being rational.

My aversion to promise rings is definitely attached to the fact that I had one before, and then the relationship went south. Very south. So now I kinda feel like I don't want any kind of promise or ring until it's the one that says we promise to get married. For real. And promptly at that. But that's entirely my personal issue. And I agree, you gals are too cool to be lame.

I think it's not really the promise ring that gets me, but the usual attitude that comes with the poster that has one. You guys are cool, so the fact that you guys have promise rings is moot.
