Hair trial

My wedding hair and makeup trial. Does this look nice? I would like honest opinions. My first trial almost had me in tears, but this one looks more me. The back of this style fell a little soon ( I just need it to last through pictures, because it still looks nice it it falls a little. Should I make it into a tighter hairdo to keep it from failing so soon?

Re: Hair trial

  • Love it! Its very pretty. I like the softer styles like that versus a tighter updo. I think they are more flattering and look great in pictures.

Personally, I would prefer if it was more secure (ie. not the loose visible ends of the hair sticking out, front tendril things pulled a bit tighter).

  • Um, you're super hot.

Oh, yeah, hair. It looks perfect. I wouldn't change a thing. Maybe just mention to the stylist that it fell a bit - they should know where they can put a few more pins to secure it without changing the look.

  • I love it!! I think it looks great, and the softness of it looks really natural. But I agree with PP that it couldn't hurt to tell the stylist that it fell out a bit, and she could add a few more pins on the day-of.
  • Holy bananas you are beautiful.

My only thought is to maybe soften the eyeliner a teeny tiny bit (maybe smoke it out on the edges a scoche?), or make sure the wing is super super sharp. That's just my thing and might not be yours though, do you! You look phenomenal.

    Right?!

I personally love it; but then again, I always prefer a little bit looser hairdo.  But if you feel like it might not last the whole day, then definitely mention that to the stylist to get it more secure for the day of.

    Whatever way, you're gorgeous.

  • You look great! I would lessen the eye makeup a bit. But I like the "natural doesn't look like makeup look". Maybe some hairspray to hold the hair? I have short hair though so I know my advice may not work.

I definitely felt that the eye makeup line was too harsh, and will definitely tell her I want it to be blended more. I told her I wanted it a little darker in the corner of my eye. I guess she thought that's what I meant, but I like it darkest in the creases. It opens up your eyes without looking so noticeable that you are doing it with makeup.  Thank you, ladies, for all of the helpful advice and compliments :)
  • This might just be personal preference but I'd like it more if the hair was parted in the middle/ side and pulled down into the bun rather than pulled "back" if you know what I mean. Like the direction your bangs/ tendrils are going.

Beautiful!! (You and the hair style). The only thing I would change is having only one tendril down in front instead of one on each side.

Did the MUA put lashes on you? If so they did a really good job. If not, you have some phenomenal lashes!

I love the hair, but I'd suggest a little more volume on the top. If you mention the lack of hold, they should be able to secure it more without changing the style.

As far as makeup, I think the eye shadow is too harsh and needs softened a bit.

    You look lovely, though!
