Just got an estimate from what will soon by "my" florist and I am so happy! I basically gave her a list of what I wanted (bouts, center pieces, corsages, bouquets) and a rough description of what I wanted and she just emailed me back and is going to be able to do ALL of it within my budget. SO EXCITED. I'm not the DIY type so I really preferred having someone else do it right for a bit more, and she's going to be able to. Guys- I talked to 2 other florists and they weren't able to get under $2k for anything, and everyone REQUIRED transporting my flowers to the venue (1 hour away, yikes). That is a lot of money for a minimum!!!
My dress comes in 2 weeks from today- probably won't be able to try it on until we get back from vacation. Gr!
We also were able to get this awesome place from home to cater for us, and they are going to be able to do all the set up and clean up and linens and stuff for under our budget too (and be totally yummy!).
I have an interview on Monday for a transfer position in the town where my FI works.... MONDAY!
