  Ask on your local board.  You're more likely to get useful responses there than on this one because this one is an international board and most of us are not going to be familiar with the available venues in Virginia Beach, VA.

  I used to live in VA Beach and that's were we got married.  The majority of the venues we looked at provided catering.  

  
  

  
  

  If you or your FI are in the military you could look into uses the base venues.  You have to use their catering but it is much cheaper than in town.  I think you can also be sponsored to use their facilities.  I've heard of retired service members renting the venues for their children.

  I live in Va Beach, but I've only been here 2 years and didn't get married here. Sorry!
