Buying used worth the savings?

I found the dress I want on preownedweddingdresses.com. It is a size too big, but $450 less than what the dress retails for. I would have needed the one in my size taken in a little bit anyways. Should I pull the trigger? (I'm terrible at making decisions.)

If the seller is legitimate and the dress is in good shape, I say go for it! Even with alterations, you could still come our for less than the retail price on a new version of your dress. Share pics of what you're looking at!

I bought mine used. It was my exact size but needed to be shortened and some of the lace needs to be fixed bit. I got it for $950 and it retailed for $1700. I'll need about $600 in alterations and steaming. So for me in the long run in made sense since if I got it retail I would have needed a few hundered dollars in alterations anyways.
