Wedding update!
The dress that I loved, the Desiree from La Sposa 2011, I have given up on it. Recapping that it wasn't my size, it didn't even close when I was bloated because of period, and they treated me horribly. Well I was going to go 3 weeks ago with a seamstress that worked with wedding gown so she could study it and tell me if it could be altered in the way I needed. But she got sick then her daughter got sick then idk what happened, fast forward to today when we were going to go at 2pm. Well she couldn't go so her daughter was to go with me and when I arrived the store was closed.
I took all of the issues as universal signs that I should stop trying to get that dress and find something else. Well I went to David's Bridal on Tuesday and I found a gown that I loved. I think it looks amazing on me and I love it even without an empire/under the bust detail. I think I will go with that dress. (clicky)
The Desiree dress is ~$1800 and the Oleg Cassini is $1300.
I am scared though, that maybe there is something else out there that will be like a fusion of both or something. Maybe I have commitment issues with the dress or something idk.
Also we went and got a quote for invitations and for the tablecloth rental. We have to now sit down and evaluate what fits better into our budget.
