Champagne Mini as Escort Card/Gift

My Las Vegas wedding has a very understated champagne bubble theme. I really like the idea of using miniature champagne bottles, such as these below from Chandon (about 6-8oz) as our escort/seating assignment cards and gift. We will have four teenagers in attendance, and I plan on giving them small drawstring bags filled with mini chocolate champagne bottle candies (non-alc of course) to keep with the theme.

For the adults, do I use one champagne bottle for each guest or one per couple, with both names on the escort card?

It is admittedly a bit of a whimsy gift as ours is a destination wedding, and if guests don't drink the champagne the night of the wedding or following morning, the bottles will probably go to waste (doubt anyone will check luggage with a tiny champagne bottle). We figure guests can enjoy the champagne after the wedding around the hotel/casino, at our post-reception after party, or the next day; and I am sure we will have folks opening them up at the reception (though in slight violation of outside liquor policy - coordinator said the bottles were OK as a gift at the restaurant for our reception, but they were not to be uncorked - though I guarantee some will dive right in).

I would love to get a booze favor.

Normally escort cards include both names of the couple, but since this is serving as your favor, I think you should do one bottle per person.

Is this going to be a problem?  Will your guests get in trouble?  If it's an issue, I might include a little note Alice-in-Wonderland style: "Do Not Drink Me Until 11pm" or whatever time your reception ends.

We did boxes of chocolates as our escort cards and I did one per person since it was something more than just a card with their names. That way nobody had to share.

I would do one per person since it's not big enough to share.

Would people really drink warm champagne at the reception?? Ick.

Oh, good point.  I would not drink warm champagne either.  I'd save it until I could drink it cold.

I went to wedding that did this--name was on each bottle at seats at table.  Love this--couldn't wait to make a mimosa with it the next day.

One per person. And I love this idea and your idea for the teens, too.
What did you think would happen if you walked up to a group of internet strangers and told them to get shoehorned by their lady doc?~StageManager14

I would do one per person. FI and I are brewing beer (he's a home brewer) and we are going to bottle them with cute labels like "Wedding Day IPA" and "I Do Pils" and add a tag with each 21+ guest's name and table number. We're thinking root beer for guests under 21.

I've been to a couple of weddings that had champagne as favors.  No one opened it at the wedding because there was an open bar.

Waste of money. I'd think you were dumb for giving everyone a favor they can't carry on to go home the next day. And I would absolutely not be drinking warm champagne. I'd be drinking the cold stuff from your bar! How about champagne truffles as a favor?
