In another thread we were talking about how sucky it is that Jells is quarantined and basically under "house arrest" because of her cancer treatments. I asked if we could send her mail, because how fun is it to receive real mail. SO FUN. And makes life a little more exciting.

She's cool with giving her PO BOX address to us. You just need to PM her to ask for it so it's not sitting out here in a thread for randos to find.

Please douse any sloths you send her with Clorox. She's immunocompromised at the moment. And no alcohol. Yet.

@smichek‌ is right. It is very difficult for me to eat out. So far, I have only eaten baked goods (with no fruits, jellies, or fillings) from Panera.

Since I have everything I need in my house, maybe I should create a honeyfund so you can donate to the lavish vacation I'm planning to the Maldives when I get well. Of course, I will then get the check, minus the fees, and buy myself a new car.

I am a total crazy cat lady! I'm not supposed to be around the boxes, but sometimes I have scoop them when noone is around. So, I glove up, wear a mask, put on shoes so the litter can't get on my feet, and then scoop. When I'm done, I jump in the shower. Yup- all of that to clean a litter box.

@beethery- I like daffodils, frangipanis, plumeria, ginger, hibiscus. So, mostly tropical flowers, except for the daffodils

You might want to get an omega paw (large) litter box. It is the easiest poobox to clean ever.

@CrazyCatLady3 I am able to snuggle with them. The doctor just told me to avoid litter duty and avoid being scratched. So, I'm super careful around them. H is living in a hotel, so my babies are here with me!!!

I have <<this>> and it is the best gadget I have probably ever purchased. It uses regular clumping litter and plain plastic bags so you never have to buy expensive refills. The litter box always looks like a Zen garden because the litter is constantly revolving through the rake. And I don't scoop poop anymore.

Jells have an ipad? I think I have books to lend on the Nook app? I can always send over a giftcard? I believe barnes and noble, amazon, and itunes can be emailed over. No need to worry about germs that way.

Hmmm...wonder if Netflix offers something like that? Anyone know?

Wouldn't that be awesome if Netflix would let you lend things to non-Netflix users? I don't think you can do that. I have a Nook and certain books are lendable for a limited time.

That would be awesome. Do they have giftcards? I'm going to look into this further....if not this is something we need to invent! That and sterile gift baskets for those that can't be exposed to germs.

Sorry for the bump, but just catching up on some things!

I really, really appreciate the generosity of everyone. It's overwhelming! When I was asked about getting mail, I was thrilled to have something new and fun to read! The mail is more than enough without any type of gift. Or should I say "I have chosen not to register, but I'm working on saving up for a new home." lol

To answer the likes/dislikes question:

Likes- cats, cheese (though i'm banned from blue, pungent cheeses), travel, pizza, the beach

Dislikes (or things I can't have)- fruits, veggies, fresh flowers (I can have fake flowers), alcohol (bummer on that can't have!!)

I'm bad at describing myself, so if you have a specific question about something, feel free to ask
